In April 2023, our itSimple family with their respective families embarked on an official trip for 3 days and 2 nights. itSimple is not only an organisation but a family, hence annual family vacations has been critical part of strong bond building. In true spirit of a family the decision making, timeline, mode of travel and destination was chosen by the team in total democracy. This was the 3rd edition of such family trip of itSimple family, each extending the bonding within existing & new iTsimple family.

The chosen Location for the trip Mukteshwar, is a hidden gem nestled at the heart of Uttarakhand. Known for its breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, lush forests, and tranquillity, Mukteshwar proved to be the perfect destination for a family retreat. Our stay at Resort Cottage Nirvana and our exploration of Mukteshwar left us with not only unforgettable memories but also a reinforced sense of togetherness.

Our Home in the Hills

Our stay in Mukteshwar was made even better by our choice of accommodation — Resort Cottage Nirvana. This charming retreat offers a range of accommodation options, including cottages and rooms, all designed to provide guests with the utmost comfort. Our family chose few cottages, a decision that proved to be nothing short of excellent. The Property had fantastic combination of Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga activities and guided trips of hiking trails. The accommodation was conceived & is actively managed by Aditya Amar, Transcendental teacher and a life coach along with being a great special occasion cook.

Strengthening Family Bonds

What truly made our trip memorable was the quality time we spent together as a family. The serene environment of Mukteshwar and the warm hospitality of Resort Cottage Nirvana provided the perfect backdrop for us to reconnect, share stories, and cherish each other's company. We engaged in board games, shared laughter around the bonfire, and marvelled at the starlit skies.

At last, the families of itSimple embarked on a simple yet memorable family retreat to Mukteshwar, a serene hill station nestled in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India. This trip served as a well-deserved break from the daily grind, offering a chance to bond with colleagues and families while rejuvenating in the lap of nature. This retreat allowed families to come together, interact, and create lasting memories. The 1st time addition of parents of unmarried Shristi added one of the best Tadka to this memorable trip. Grace, fun and yet maturity they brought to team was fun. Some of the family members of itSimple could not make it for various reasons and it was made sure that each one of the missed itSimple family member & their immediate family, got together on Zoom meeting for couple of hours to enjoy bonding of family to extent possible.

Pakhee (Daughter, 10 y, one of the youngest)

My first trip to Hill Station with large Family of my mom's office was very nice experience.

When I met them & interacted for 1st time in trip, I just thought that we had been bonding for a long time. We played many games in the bus. When we first stopped at our Resort. It was a way up the stairs to the hotel, and we talked and just walked. When we reached the hotel, we were just surprised because the hotel was so amazing that I was curious to go in my room and see the view. I was surprised to see our room. There was a bed that could get hotter with a switch. When I knew, I was just curious to use that button. Then we ordered some food, and it was so delicious that I ate the whole thing that was on my plate in no time. We went on a forest walk, and along with us, our elders also accompanied us. There we saw stars farming, apple and peach trees, large, multi-colored roses, and local plants and flowers. The cottage was full of beautiful flowers and a tree house.

We all visited the very famous Mukteshwar temple. This place is named Mukteshwar, one of the names of Lord Siva. A small temple surrounded by hills and beautiful scenery. I heard a lot in my school book that hills are beautiful. I felt how beautifully God had created it. The heavy rain cloud carrying water, mandir ke ghanto ki awaz, and the smell of bhoot. In peak summer, we experienced winter, and all of it was out of my imagination. I loved the view. While returning to our cottage, we were hungry, and we had mixed pakoda and coffee. humm awesome taste. On the same night, we had a bonfire where everyone enjoyed dance, music, food, and fun, and we also got gifts.

The next morning, I woke up early, and weather was beautiful, with clouds in the sky and then rain. I felt like nature was taking a shower. Our plan for that day was cancelled because of rain, but it was as good as the day before. We played multiple games, like musical chairs, damsharas, solo dance, singing, and mimicry too. It was an amazing experience for me. Then we gossiped with each other.

Day 3 was time to say goodbye, and we left our hill home with beautiful memories, a beautiful nature, and the helpful nature of local people and hotel staff. Then, we all again played some new games in the bus, and we have some fun in the famous lakes known as Bheemtal. We reached our home late at night. That is how we enjoyed this amazing trip.

This was the best trip I ever had. The beautiful tree house, food, hills, and weather made me make new friends like Saksham Bhaiya, Mishti, and Tashvi Didi. I missed them all. Thank you, Mom's Boss, to invite us and organized such a beautiful family trip.

"Embarking on the ItSimple Family Retreat to Mukteshwar alongside our wonderful colleagues and their families was an extraordinary experience. In the midst of majestic mountains and the charm of this retreat, we discovered not just a destination, but a circle of kindred spirits. Our bonds grew stronger, our laughter echoed through the hills, and we created memories that will forever unite our families. This journey taught me that the true magic of travel lies in the beautiful connections we make along the way"

S. K. Singh (Husband)

This is my first-time meeting with my wife's office colleague and boss, but I never feel that I am meeting with them for the first time.

In my experience, the trip was amazing; the location was as perfect as people want to create bonds with new people. The food was good. All the arrangements were perfect, but the best part is the team of itSimple. They were treating each other like family members. Jolly with each other, having one-fire party, sharing their best personal life experiences—everything looks like I am traveling with my family, not with unknown people.

Their vision of life is really itSimple (it is Simple). Best of luck for your future growth, and plan to get together more and more.

Mr. Mittal (Father)

It is great to experience fun & guidance with such bonded family during trip. We appreciate the guidance being given to youngsters, and affection to family by seniors in the itSimple family.

Vibha Mishra (Wife)

Very Good Trip with family and office colleagues, this is my 3rd trip. Bonding growing with every Trip. My Daughter Misthi and myself very excited and planning for next itSimple trip. Misthi keep sharing about the trip fondly with her friends and Dadu. We should plan more family get togethers around the year.

Thank you each member of itSimple Parivar for making these trips key milestones of memory.

Saksham (Son)

The trip to Mukteshwar was a really good change from one's everyday life and proved to be just that much more special with some really good bonding experiences with the itSimple families, getting to know them in a way we never really had a chance to before with the beautiful scenery and fresh air being a cherry on top.

Moments especially like the bonfire on a starry night, the patter of rain with everyone curled up with a hot beverage and all of us participating in the fun irrespective of our age.
